Biography

Doris Johnson made her debut into the world of romance in 1996 with the highly acclaimed Love Unveiled, writing under the pseudonym Gloria Greene. Since then, writing under her real name, Doris has produced many hits beginning with Night and Day in 1997; Night Secrets, in 1998; White Lies also in 1998; Father at Heart in the anthology Man of the House in 1998; Heart of Stone, 1999; A Passionate Moment in the anthology Cupid’s Arrow in 2000; Precious Heart in 2000, and Just One Kiss, also in 2000; Midsummer Moon in 2001 and Rhythms of Love, in 2002. Man of the House was re-issued in hardcover in 2003.

Johnson’s work has been touted as “provocative” by Romantic Times Magazine, the “bible” of the industry; “plotting is excellent,” raves Rendezvous Magazine; “Doris Johnson clearly demonstrates she has the magic to go to the top...” declares Affaire de Coeur; “...Precious Heart is definitely a keeper!” Romance in Color avers.

With a liberal arts degree, a love of art and precious stones, she uses her knowledge and experience to bring realism to her work.
